When I think of summer, I think of hot, humid days, gardens in bloom, and trying to eat outdoors without bees or mosquitoes making nuisances of themselves!  The Stampendous Design Team theme this week is "Have a Mice Summer!" These cute little Bumble Bunnies from House Mouse Designs, paired with the great Daisy Field Stamp fit the theme perfectly! It seems like they just want to stop and smell the flowers!

Those We Love

May is speeding by with lots of family activities, recitals, baptisms, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, weddings, funerals...all the things that make our lives what they are, sometimes happy, sometimes nostalgic, sometimes sad. But what are perfect for any of these occasions are the newest sentiment stamps from Stampendous! They have an image and sentiment in on stamp to make your card making super easy.

This week the Stampendous Design Team members are sharing our creations with these new designs. Today I've created a card using the lovely CRR265 Those We Love Rubber Stamp. This beautiful sentiment and simple image convey the perfect message when you need a Sympathy card.

The message is so beautiful, and the simple design of the flower and leaves makes it a quick and easy card in those hard times. I only used 3 Copic markers on this: G20, G24, BV11, and used Distress Inks Shaded Lilac and Dusty Concord around the edges. A little bow with May Arts ribbon gives the final touch.

Life is a Road Trip!

They have an image and sentiment in one stamp to make your card making super easy.

This week the Stampendous Design Team members are sharing our creations with these new designs. Today I've created a card using the CRR263 Enjoy the Ride Rubber Stamp, because it seems like we've been in the car a lot lately and will be for the rest of the summer!

Simply stamp the image on white cardstock with black ink, color with markers or pencils, layer it to match your colors and tada! before you know it you have a great card! I colored a second "Road Trip" shield, cut it out and mounted it with foam tape to add a little more dimension. I think this could make a fun Graduation card too!

Love and Laughter

May is speeding by with lots of family activities, recitals, baptisms, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, weddings, funerals...all the things that make our lives what they are, sometimes happy, sometimes nostalgic, sometimes sad. But what are perfect for any of these occasions are the newest sentiment stamps from Stampendous! They have an image and sentiment in one stamp to make your card making super easy.

This week the Stampendous Design Team members are sharing our creations with these new designs. Here is mine for today using the Laughter Gift Rubber Stamp, CRR258

These stamps make card making a breeze. I simply stamped the design on white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black, colored it with Copic markers, put it on the front of a card, and added a beautiful ribbon from May Arts! Here's a close up of the stamp detail:

Stampendous and Whisker Graphics Finale!

Wow, it's been a fun week of idea sharing between the Stampendous and Whisker Graphics design teams! I hope you've had time to enjoy the creations this week.

I am finally settled into temporary housing in Cincinnati (until our house is built), and am still trying to find the right boxes for each event, but I'm getting there! I was smart and kept my Whisker Graphic supplies where I could find them quickly. Of course, when we hop, we offer prizes!

PRIZES!
With all the fabulous inspiration that we have been sharing from both design teams, we thought some of you would like to play along with these great products too, so there are PRIZES! Just comment along the hops each day and leave a thoughtful comment for the designers. Winners will be announced Monday, May 9th.

Three prize packages consisting of one each –
Divine Twine Diva – Crushed Lavender Solid
Divine Twine Diva – Crushed Lavender Stripe
Divine Twine Diva – Dried Celadon Solid
Divine Twine Diva – Dried Celadon Stripe
An assortment of bags in a variety of sizes and patterns.
Winners choice of a Stampendous Cling Rubber Stamp Set and Matching Dies (from available stock)

These three winners MUST have a US mailing address (or territories or military).

But wait! Additionally, we will give away one prize to an Australian winner courtesy of our distributor there – The Stencil Specialist – which will consist of distributor’s choice of one stamp, one stencil and a surprise goodie.

Today I combined a cute House Mouse stamp from the Stampendous April Catalog with some of the cute little colored tags and Divine Twine that Whiskers Graphics so generously provided us, to create a birthday card.

"Time to Celebrate!"
The adorable Snail Mail stamp (HMCP49) would be great for a belated birthday wish too (get it...because you sent the card "snail mail"!). Here I've paired it with the Celebrate Birthday stamp (CRL266), but it would be perfect with the Celebrate Late stamp (CRL267) too!

Snail Mail stamp (HMCP49), stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black, colored with Copic Markers

Add some cute Divine Twine to hold on the packages!
I cut 1" off two small tags, edged them with a black marker, put a little twine in and attached them to the back of the Snail Mail image, then stamped the third tag with the senntiment and attached it with foam tape
