Summer Flowers

Summer gardens are in full bloom now. I just love seeing the different gardens people have as I go about my day. Some are a wild mess (like mine!), some are neat and tidy, but the ones I love best are a combination of neatness with a dash of wildness! And color, oh my, the colors are fabulous!

The Stampendous Design Team is sharing Floral and Foliage themed cards this week. Here's one I did a while back for the April catalog.  I love poppies, and the Poppy Fields Stamp makes it so quick and easy to create a beautiful card.

Stampendous:
CRR262 Cling Poppy Fields Stamp
MPW811 Mixed Media White Paper
Acrylic Handle
MEM01 Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink by Tsukineko®

Plus:
My Colors Cardstock - Sweet Potato, Black Suede
Copic Sketch Markers - B60, E49, G17, G24, G99, YG03, Y13, YR07, YR15, R08
Creative Impressions Ribbon
Craft Glue Dots

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 6" x 9 1/2" piece of Sweet Potato cardstock in half to form an A6 top fold card
Step 2:  Stamp the Poppy Fields image on white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, color with Copic Markers
Step 3: Trim the image to 3 3/4" x 5"
Step 4:  Cut a piece of Black Suede cardstock 3 7/8" x 5 1/8", adhere the Poppy image to the black mat
Step 5:  Adhere the Poppy Fields to the front of the card
Step 6:  Create a small bow with some orange ribbon and adhere with a Glue Dot
