Peace!

It's that time of year again! Time for the Fall/Halloween/Christmas release from Stampendous! We've been busy for the last several months creating lots of samples with these great new stamps and are so happy to be able to finally share them with you!

This week Fran is in the UK sharing all kinds of great ideas on HOCHANDA (a TV station) featuring the new  catalog products. Well, we couldn't let that happen without sharing them here too!
Today I'm sharing a sweet card featuring the darling new penguin from the Winter Friends  Stamp Set (CRS5091) and the matching Die Cut Set (DCS5091). I've paired him with the new Festive Background Stamp (CRR272).

Supplies:

Stampendous:
FMS4040 Folk Dove Metal Stencil
CRV325 Cling Merry Be Rubber Stamp
MG10 Teal Micro Glitter
Acrylic Handle
MEM01 Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink by Tsukineko®

Dreamweaver:
DWDPP Dreamweaver Pearlescent Embossing Paste
DWDPK Dreamweaver Palette Knife
DWLM2010 Paste Spreader

Plus:
My Color Cardstock - Seafoam
Cream Cardstock
Graphic 45 Yuletide Greetings 4501188
Brilliance Ink P. Jade
Copic Marker BG72
Removable Tape
Foam Tape

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 6" x 9 1/2" piece of Seafoam cardstock in half to form an A6 card
Step 2: Cut a 4 1/2" x 5 3/4" piece of the Graphic 45 paper, edge with BG72, adhere to the card front
Step 3:  Tape the Folk Dove stencil to a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of cream cardstock with removable tape
Step 4:  Use a palette knife and paste spreader to apply Pearlescent Embossing Paste over the design, remove stencil and place in water for cleaning later
Step 5:  Sprinkle the wet paste with Teal Glitter, tap off extra, let paste dry
Step 6: When paste is dry, cut around the dove image leaving a small edge
Step 7:  Stamp the saying on a 2 1/4" x 2 3/4"  piece of cream cardstock with P. Jade ink, wipe off the stamp and reink with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, stamp over the Jade as close as possible, but the little "shadow" look is great
Step 8: Adhere the saying to the bottom right of the card front
Step 9: Use foam tape to attach the Folk Dove

Very pretty! I love that you only used the one color! It really makes the dove stand out! TFS~
