Welcome Baby!

We recently moved in to a new neighborhood that we just love. It's a wonderful combination of young families and older people (like us!), and everyone makes a point of meeting each other because it's a new development. Of course, with young families come babies! We have two brand new babies right across the street, so this week's theme of "Oh, Baby!" was perfect timing for me! I got to make sweet baby cards and get my blog written!

Here's my first creation, perfect for either a boy or girl just by changing the colors you use.

Step 3: Use a 1/2" stencil brush to add color to the image, remove stencil and place in water for cleaning
Step 4: Tape the Diamond Grid stencil to a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of white cardstock with removable tape, making sure to have the pattern the correct direction and lined up right at the left edge of the paper, use two more long pieces of removable tape to tape off one angled row
Step 5:  Use the blue 1/2" stencil brush first and color the whole row, move the tape over to the next row you want to be blue (skip a row), and tape off that row, color, repeat, move the stencil over as needed, carefully lining it up each time to fill the paper
Step 6: Clean the stencil, line it back over the design and add the second color, edge the piece with the blue ink pad
Step 7: Adhere the background to the card front
Step 8: Use FabriTac to add some ribbon and a little bow
Step 9: Adhere the Baby Feet to a small mat of Sky, then Mint Julep, then White, and to the right side of the card
