A Really Mice Fall!

Fall has definitely arrived in the Ohio area! There's a chill in the air, trees are changing color, and fall decorations are being displayed everywhere! Fall is my favorite time of year so I'm trying to enjoy each and every moment of it.

The Stampendous Design Team has been challenged to create with a theme of "A Really Mice Fall" for this week. I thought this cute Halloween card with the Mice Costume Stamp fit the theme perfectly!

Trick or Treating Fun!
Don't forget our team is participating in the 31 Days of Halloween! The Design Team members are excited to be bringing a daily dose of Halloween inspiration. We had such a great time for the Smeared Ink blog hop last year with Terra that we wanted to come back for another year and then we didn’t sign up in time. We’ll still provide their hop list every day so you won’t miss out on the fabulous projects from them.

And of course, there are PRIZES!!! We have tons of prizes for this hop and as usual, comment on our blog and our design team blogs that get linked up here throughout our 31 Days post! See Official Contest Rules and then watch for details in our Monday post when we get the hop into full swing.

Fun Fall Flying!

Fall Fun is our Stampendous Design Team Theme for this week. I love Fall so this theme is right up my leaf-blown alley!  I shared this card in August right after our July catalog came out, but we weren't really in the Fall spirit yet, so I'm posting it again because I just love how much fun they are having!

My mischievous little mice are called "Fence Falling", and are featured in the July 2015 Stampendous Catalog.   Don't they just look like they are having a ball playing this game! I colored them with Chameleon markers, then mounted them on a fall background that I created using the Creative Palette and acrylic paints.

Supplies
Stampendous
HMR42 Fence Falling
Creative Palette
MPW811 Mixed Media White Paper

Plus
Bazzill cardstock Bitter Chocolate
Chameleon Color Tones - NU1, NU2, OL3, OR4, BR5, RD4, YL2, YO3, CG8, BK4, CB
Acrylic Paints - Yellow, Orange, Red, Olive Green
Brayer
Delicata Golden Glitz
May Arts Ribbon 368-15-16  1.5" green, and Jute SM10
Double-sided tape
Foam Tape

Instructions

Step 1:  Fold a 7" x 10" piece of dark brown cardstock in half to form a top-fold card

Step 2:  Use the Creative Palette, acrylic paints and a brayer to create a fall colored background on White Mixed Media paper, dry well, cut to 4 3/4" x 6 3/4", swipe the Delicata ink pad across the background, attach to the front of the card

Step 3:  Stamp the Fence Falling on a  4" x 5 7/8" piece of white cardstock and color with Chameleon pens, mat on a dark brown mat 4 1/8" x 6 1/8"

Step 4:  Add the green ribbon along the right side of the card, gather it in the middle with a small piece of Jute

Step 5:  Use foam tape to add the image to the card front

There's more mischief brewing over at these designer blogs:
