Embossed Ornament Mix

"Elements of Excitement" is this week's theme for the Stampendous Design Team. The projects we are sharing feature some of the "extra" products Stampendous is famous for, like embossing powders, glitters, mica, fragments, etc. I'm so lucky to be part of this team and receive these products from Stampendous to create samples to share with you!

Today my card uses Silver Embossing Paste and the NEW Ice Pink Embossing Enamel. It is gorgeous! Who uses pink for a Christmas card? ME! It is perfect for the new Ornament Mix stencil and gives it such a retro feel.

FREG050 Ice Pink Embossing Enamel

Dreamweaver:

DWLM2010 Paste Spreader

Plus:
Bazzill Brocade T1-142
Cream Cardstock
VersaMark
Cut Straw
Heat Tool
1/4" double sided tape
Removable Tape
Foam Tape

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 6 1/4" x 10" piece of Brocade cardstock in half to form a card
Step 2: Cut a 4 3/4" x 6" piece of cream cardstock, place three pieces of 1/4 tape across the center of the card, remove release paper, sprinkle with Ice Pink Embossing Enamel, heat set, and adhere to the card front
Step 3:  Tape the Ornament Mix stencil to a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Cream cardstock with removable tape
Step 4:  Use a palette knife and paste spreader to apply Silver Embossing Paste over the design, remove stencil and place in water for cleaning later, using the cut straw, sprinkle parts of each ornament with the Ice Pink powder, tap off extra, heat set (paste will bubble a little), let paste dry completely
Step 5: When the paste is dry, adhere the Ornament Mix to a 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" mat of Brocade, then to the card
Step 6: Stamp the Happy Holiday on a 5/8" x 2 1/2" piece of Cream with VersaMark, sprinkle with Ice Pink, heat set, adhere to a 3/4" x 2 5/8" piece of Brocade
Step 7:  Use foam tape to add the sentiment to the card
