A Child is Born!

The Stampendous Design Team this week has a theme of "A Child is Born". Stampendous offers so many beautiful stamps and stencils to fit this Christmas theme. Check them out at the Stampendous  website.

Here is a simple Christmas card I made for the July 2015 Stampendous Catalog. The gold manger scene lends an elegant touch, yet the burlap ribbon and metallic embossing enamels remind us of the rustic side of this blessed event. You might be surprised how I got the gold Manger! Read on...

Such great elements combined for a rustic stable manger card. Love the freestyle embossing powder over the burlap. What a great technique to go along with the stenciling! Thank you for sharing!
