Stampendous and Eileen Hull Hop!

The Stampendous and Eileen Hull Design Teams have joined together this week and exchanged products to bring you a week of fun, imaginative projects using the exciting new clear stamps and dies sets as well as the heavy hitter Scoreboard dies from Sizzix designed by Eileen Hull.

Where there's a hop, there are prizes!

Yesterday I shared the first part of my "Woodland Home" scene:

Today I've added another house to the scene using the Eileen Hull canister die cut and the Cottage Home Perfectly Clear Stamps and Dies Set (CSD06)

The "thatched roof" cottage adds a homey touch to the display!
Stacking the cubes makes them look like a tree trunk!
I stamped extra window boxes to pop them out and popped out an extra window too.

The Matte Black Embossing Paste and aged ochre embossing enamel
used with the Mosaic Swirl stencil make great "bark"!

We hope you've enjoyed our week of fun ideas with these great products. Don't forget to leave comments for a chance to win some wonderful products!

Are You Dreaming?

Are you dreaming or are these adorable projects from the Stampendous and Eileen Hull Design Teams real! Our two teams have joined together this week and exchanged products to bring you a week of fun, imaginative projects.

Where there's a hop, there are prizes!

Today I've combined the Mosaic Swirl Dreamweaver Stencil (DWLJ901) with one of the block sets from Eileen Hull to create a "woodland" background for the Mushroom Home Perfectly Clear Stamp and Die Set (CSD05).

The mosaic patterns on the boxes was done with Matte Black Embossing Paste with Aged Ochre Embossing Enamel
I think they have the feel of old logs on the forest floor!

The Mushroom house is colored with Copic markers
I used the stand from the new Popcessories Die Set on the back of the Mushroom House
DCP1003 Pop'cessories Die Set

Check back tomorrow to see who else has moved into this "Woodland Home"!

Here's a video that Fran put together using these great sets!

A Different Kind of Face!

This week the Stampendous Design Team has been featuring "The Faces of Stampendous" on our blogs. It meant we were to use one the beautiful "face" stamps such as Beautiful Braid, Feminine Face, Beauty Face, or Glance and The Look stamps that are available, but I decided to choose a different "face". Or rather, two faces, the face of this fun clock an the face of the wise owl  on the new Owl Clock (R248) stamp!

Ok, ok. I know I'm stretching a little, but I just love this stamp, and I especially love it combined with our great Gears Stencil (DWLJ911) in the background!

"I'm late!"

Embossing Dreamweaver Style!

This week the Stampendous team has been featuring techniques from the new Embossing Powder Techniques from A to Z by Fran Seiford, the founder and owner of Stampendous!
The book is filled with lots of pictures and helpful tips to make any embossing project easy!

To celebrate the release of Fran's new book, three lucky people will win their very own copy!

Today I am featuring one of the embossing techniques we use with stencils.

This card features the Daisies Stencil (DWLL548) using Technique P - Molten Magic. You can learn how to do this on pages 38-39 of  Embossing Powder Techniques from A to Z . The only difference is I used Regular Embossing Paste and the Summer Shine Embossing Kit powders (EK21)
- Clear Lime, Clear Lemon, Clear Pink. The words stamped in the background of the various layers are from the newly released Floral Charms Perfectly Clear Set (SSC1243) by Stampendous.

Stampendous now carries an Embossing Heat Tool (HT400). Our heat tool by Wagner Tool is made by Milwaukee and is a heavy duty, long lasting, durable heat tool with more power and precision than the kind you can buy in the big box stores.

Here's the list of designers posting more techniques from the book today:

I "Heart" the new Stencil Duos!

Welcome! This week the Stampendous Design Team is working with the new Stencil Duo sets from Stampendous! They are so versatile! Work with them together, use them individually, mix and match, the possibilities go on and on!

There are six great Duos to choose from:
FMSD101 Heart Duo Stencil Set
FMSD102 Butterfly Duo Stencil Set
FMSD103 Blossom Duo Stencil Set
FMSD104 Gift Duo Stencil Set
FMSD105 Balloon Duo Stencil Set
FMSD106 Bird Duo Stencil Set

Today I used the Heart Duo set to create this pretty card just in time for Valentine's Day!

"Heart Smile!"
It's very easy to do:
  • Cut a piece of patterned (or plain) paper the size of the stencils
  • Lay the Heart stencil on the paper, I like to tape it in place with removable tape, and use the fine line pen that comes with the set to outline the Heart shape
  • Remove the Heart, and place the coordinating pattern stencil on the paper, tape in place, then add the heart stencil back on top, lining up the original outline, and tape in place
  • Use the pen to outline the design, remove the stencils and add more designs if you want to using various tangles
  • Color as desired, I used Copic markers
  • Mount into a beautiful card and add a sentiment, mine is from the Love Always (SSC1238) set from Stampendous
  • Of course, a gorgeous ribbon from May Arts looks perfect too!
For the complete list of this weeks projects, check out the Stampendous Blog for each day! Here are today's designers:
