Happy Easter!

Wishing you a Happy Easter! This is an oldie but goodie featuring the Easter Egg Border Stencil (DWLM253) with stamps from the Bible Journal PCS (SSC1250) and the Painted Wishes set (SSCM5002) to create a fun Easter card.

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 6" x 9" piece of Light Yellow cardstock in half to form an A6 card
Step 2: Tape the Egg stencil to a 1 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of  white cardstock with removable tape
Step 3: Use 1/4" stencil brushes and the Picasso tool to apply color to the egg design, remove and clean the stencil
Step 4: Place the egg stencil face down (so you can't see the stencil number) on a paper towel and pat the stencil with the Lavender ink pad until the stencil is well coated
Step 5: Place the inked stencil on the platform of a die cut machine, carefully place the stenciled image face down on the stencil, tape in place if desired, add a Rubber Embossing Mat and two cutting mats, run through the  die cut machine to dry emboss the image and transfer the Lavender ink to the background
Step 6: Let the embossed image dry for a minute or two then trim to 1 1/8" x 5 3/8", adhere to a bright yellow mat (1 1/4" x 5 1/2"), then to a pink mat (1 3/8" x 5 5/8")
Step 7:  Cut a 1" x 1" piece of the Graphic45 paper and stamp the Happy Easter from the Painted Wishes set using Memento Tuxedo Black, edge the piece with a black marker, adhere to a 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" bright yellow mat
Step 8: Stamp the dotted bracket from the Bible Journal set twice on a piece of white paper, color with Copic markers, cut out, edge with a black marker
Step 9: Cut a 2" x 6"  piece of the Graphic45 paper, edge with the RV11 or R32 marker, adhere to the top edge of the card front
Step 10: Cut a 2 1/2" x 6"  piece of the Tiny Green Stripe paper, edge with the YG03 marker, adhere to the bottom edge of the card front
Step 11: Wrap a piece of the ribbon around the middle of the card and attach with Fabri-Tac
Step 12:  Tie a small bow and adhere to the ribbon using Fabri-Tac
Step 13:  Adhere the Easter Egg Border layer to the bottom area, center the Happy Easter in the top portion, use foam tape to add the brackets around the Happy Easter

Hello Sunshine!

This week the theme for the Stampendous Design Team is  "A Sunny Hello!". This darling little Wooly Lamb stamp is gone from the Stampendous website, but it is available from other online retailers. I think it makes an adorable card appropriate for several occasions! Think baby, Easter, 1st birthday, spring...see, many occasions!

Instructions

Step 1:  Fold a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of turquoise cardstock in half to form a top fold A2 card
Step 2:  Place the Damask stencil face down (so you can't see the stencil number) on the large platform of a die cut machine, place a  4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of white cardstock over the stencil (I like to mist my paper with a little water first), add a rubber embossing mat, two clean cutting plates, and put the stack through the machine
Step 3:  Remove the embossed image from the stencil, trim to 4" x 5 1/4", adhere to the front of the card
Step 4:  Stamp the Wooly Lamb on a 2 1/2" x 3" piece of Mixed Media White Paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, color with Copic markers
Step 5:  Adhere the Wooly Lamb on a 2 3/4" x 3 1/4" turquoise mat, then to the front of the card
Step 6:  Add a piece of  May Arts scalloped ribbon tape across the bottom of the Wooly Lamb mat
Step 7: Stamp the sentiment from the Spring Sentiments set on a piece of white cardstock, trim close, mat on a turquoise mat
Step 8:  Use foam tape to add the sentiment

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 6" x 9 1/2" piece of blue cardstock in half to form an A6 card
Step 2: Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the Sunny Hello image on a piece of white cardstock, color with Copic Markers
Step 3:  Use the fitted frames set to die cut the image and a matching black mat, adhere the two layers together
Step 4:  Use a foam applicator and the white ink to add blotches of white ink around the card front
Step 5:  Tape off the holes in the Picasso with removable tape, lay the scalloped edge of the Picasso on a white area and use a 1/2" brush to brush Bahama Blue ink off the edge of the Picasso to create clouds, repeat around the card front
Step 6:    Adhere the Sunny Hello near the lower right corner of the card front
Step 7:    Tie a bow from the black ribbon, use a glue dot to apply the bow in the upper left corner of the Sunny Hello image

Flower Jars

Spring, my favorite time of year! I love how each week brings new things in bloom and new trees leafing out. This lovely Flower Jars stamp (P313) from Stampendous makes me smile and think of all the flowers we'll soon have to fill our home with color! I paired it with the awesome DECOR Cling Script (DCR103) background stamp.

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 6" x 9 1/2" piece of light green cardstock in half to form an A6 card
Step 2: Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the Flower Jars image on a 3" x 4 3/8" piece of white paper,  color with Copic Markers
Step 3:  Use the Rich Cocoa ink to stamp the Script image on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of white cardstock
Step 4:   Use the alcohol filled Water Brush to add Booo0, B000, R32 to the background of the Flower Jars, YG91 and R32 to the Script background
Step 5:   Adhere the Script to a 4 3/8" x 5 5/8" black mat, add a ribbon across the top left corner, adhere to the card front
Step 6: Adhere the Flower Jars to a 3 1/8" x 4 1/2" black mat, use foam tape to add it to the card front
Step 7: Tie a small bow, use a Craft Glue Dot to add it to the upper left corner

Mandala Bloom

Spring is in the air and the bulbs are starting to bloom. This week the Stampendous Design Team is sharing some our creations that have that "Springtime" feel. Today I'm sharing a card that has that Springtime feel, I think! The Build A Wreath Die Set (DCP1007) was the perfect way to highlight the wonder Mandala Bloom stamp (CRF242).

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Sweetie Pie cardstock in half to form an A2 card
Step 2: Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the Mandala Bloom on white paper,  color with Copic Markers
Step 3:  Use the Build A Wreath set to die cut out the colored image and  die cut matching layer from yellow vintage, cut the larger scalloped circle from the yellow too, and a matching circle and two bows from Pink Carnation cardstock, cut three sets of leaves from Mint Julep
Step 4:   Edge both yellow layers with the Y17 marker, edge the bows with the RV14 marker
Step 5:   Adhere the Pink Carnation circle to the large yellow scalloped circle and adhere to the card front
Step 6: Adhere the Mandala Bloom to the smaller yellow scalloped circle and use foam tape to adhere it to the center of the larger layer
Step 7: Use the Quick Dry Adhesive to add the three sets of leaves along the bottom edge of the Mandala layer
Step 8:  Glue on the two bows, offsetting them a little, place a small circle of glue in the center of the top bow, sprinkle with Pink Micro Glitter, tap off extra, let dry

Dutch Tulips

Spring is here at last! Well, in my part of Ohio anyway! The Stampendous Design Team is sharing some Spring creations this week. Here is one of my favorites featuring the beautiful Dutch Tulips set (CRS5102), with the fabulous DECOR Cling Music (DCR105) background stamp. The sentiment is Cling Everyone Wishes (CRF241).

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 7" x 10" piece of red cardstock in half to form an A7 card
Step 2: Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the Tulips image on white paper,  color with Copic Markers
Step 3:  Draw a 2 3/8" x 4 3/4" box around the left upper part of the tulips, cut out the image around the box, mount on a 2 1/2" x 4 7/8" piece of black
Step 4:   Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the Music image on a 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" piece of white, edge with the 100 marker, adhere to the card front
Step 5:   Stamp the sentiment on white paper, trim close to the words, mat on black
Step 6: Adhere the Tulips to the upper left corner of the card, use a single piece of foam tape behind the two upper tulips and a double layer of foam tape under the lowest tulip
Step 7: Use foam tape to add the sentiment near the lower right corner

Step 1:  Fold a 6" x 9 1/2" piece of Parrot cardstock in half to form an A6 card
Step 2: Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the Lucky Clover image on white paper,  color with Copic Markers
Step 3:  Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the sentiment from the Brushed Wishes set on white paper, use Fitted Frames set A to die cut the sentiment and a matching mat from the Parrot cardstock, adhere the two layers together
Step 4:   Use the Brilliance P. Thyme ink to stamp the Starry Swirls image on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of white cardstock, repeat inking and stamping at edges to fill the background
Step 5:   Use a foam applicator to rouge green ink over the stamped Starry Swirls, adhere to a 4 1/2" x 5 3/4" piece of Grape Vine cardstock then to the card front
Step 6: Trim the colored Lucky Clover image so it fits on a 3 3/8" x 4 1/4" Grape Vine mat, adhere the two layers together
Step 7: Adhere a 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of Grape Vine across the swirls about 1 1/4" up from the bottom edge of the card
Step 8:  Use foam tape to apply the Lucky Clover image and the sentiment

Paris Bonjour

It's April Catalog Sneak Peek week for the Stampendous Design Team! We are so excited to share some of our favorite creations with you before their release in a couple of weeks!

Today I am sharing my absolute favorite card I made for this catalog, "Paris"! It combines the fabulous new Paris Map (6CR008) background stamp, with the absolutely gorgeous new Paris Bonjour stamp set (CRS5105) and its matching die set (DCS5105)!

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 6" x 9 1/2" piece of gray cardstock in half to form an A6 card
Step 2: Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the Paris Bonjour images you want to use and the Paris Map on pieces of white cardstock
Step 3:  Use Copic markers to color the Paris Bonjour images, use foam applicators and the Distress Inks to add color to the Paris Map
Step 4:  Die cut the Paris Bonjour images with their matching dies, edge each with complimenting markers
Step 5:  Adhere a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of pink cardstock to the card front
Step 6:    Adhere the Paris Map to the pink layer
Step 7:    Arrange the die cut images on the Map layer using the dot roller and foam tape to get added dimension

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Pixie Dust cardstock in half to form an A2 card
Step 2: Cut a 4 1/2" x 6 1/4"  piece of Double Sided Mounting Paper (MPDS), adhere one side to a 4 3/4" x 6 1/2" piece of white cardstock
Step 3:  Pat the back of the Big Dots stencil with VersaMark ink, get a good coating on entire stencil, remove the release paper from the MPDS and place the stencil ink side down over the sticky paper, use release paper to press the stencil firmly against the sticky paper
Step 4:   Start with one color of glitter and apply a small amount in a hole, rub it in gently, carefully tap off extra glitter, keep working one color at a time until you have filled all the holes with colored glitter tapping off between colors, lightly brush off any extra glitter from the stencil
Step 5:  Place the stencil face down on a clean paper towel, carefully pull the paper off the stencil, keeping the stencil flat on the table, sprinkle the background with Crystal Micro Glitter, set aside
Step 6: Stamp the Easter Egg Juggle design on a 4" x 4" piece of white cardstock with the Tuxedo Black ink, color with Copic Markers
Step 7:  Use Fitted Frames set A to die cut the image, cut a matching frame from Mint Julep, adhere the two layers together
Step 8: Cut two pieces 1 3/4" x 4" from the glittered Big Dots, mount each piece on a 2" x 4 1/4" piece of Mint Julep, adhere near the top and bottom of the card front
Step 9: Adhere a 1/2" x 4 1/4" strip of Pixie Dust to a 3/4" x 4 1/4" piece of Mint Julep, adhere them to the center area of the card between the two glittered areas
Step 10:  Use foam tape to attach the Easter Egg Juggle image to the card front

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 7" x 10" piece of Loveable cardstock in half to form an A7 card
Step 2: Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the Doorbell Ringers image on a piece of white cardstock, color with Copic Markers, trim to 3 5/8" x  4"
Step 3:  Adhere the image to a 3 3/4" x 4 1/8" piece of Cloak Gray, then on a 4 1/8" x 4 1/2" piece of Loveable
Step 4:   Cut a 4 5/8" x 6 5/8" piece of the Bazzill paper, stamp the upper area with the Starry Swirls using P. Coral ink, adhere the stamped piece to the card front
Step 5:   Cut a 7/8" x 6 5/8" piece of the Bazzill paper, stamp it with the Starry Swirls using P. Coral ink, then adhere it on a 1" x 6 5/8" strip of Cloak Gray and a 1 1/4" x 6 5/8" piece of Loveable, adhere the strip about 1" up from the bottom of the card front
Step 6: Use foam tape to  add the Doorbell Ringers on the card front near the left side
Step 7:  Color two Pearl Candis with W4 and W6 markers, use small pieces of foam tape to add to the right side of the strip across the card

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 6" x 9 1/2" piece of Deep Purple cardstock in half to form an A6 card
Step 2: Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the Flower Arranging image on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of white cardstock, color with Copic Markers, trim to 3" x 4 1/2"
Step 3:  Place the Cathedral Windows stencil face down on the large platform of a die cut machine, spritz a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of white cardstock with a fine mist of water and carefully line the paper up over the stencil, place a rubber embossing mat over the paper, add two unused cutting plates and run the sandwich through the machine
Step 4:   Place the embossed image face up and use 1/2" stencil brushes to add the purple ink over the design
Step 5:   Adhere the Flower Arranging image to the embossed background
Step 6: Wrap the ribbon around the left edge and tape the ends in the back, tie a small bow from another piece of ribbon, use FabriTac to glue the bow on the ribbon
Step 7:  Adhere the image to the card front

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 6" x 9 1/2" piece of brown cardstock in half to form an A6 card
Step 2: Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the Horse Friends image on a 3 3/4" x 4 1/2" piece of white, color with Copic Markers
Step 3: Trim close to the image border on the top, left, and bottom, tear the right edge
Step 4:  Mat image on a 3 3/4" x 4 1/2" piece of Black cardstock, tear the right edge
Step 5:  Use the Misti Stamp Tool to stamp the border images on a 1 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of textured blue paper using Tuxedo Black ink, re-ink and stamp again to get a very dark impression
Step 6:  Tear the two long sides of a 2" x 5 1/2" piece of black cardstock, adhere the blue piece to the black
Step 7:  Adhere the matted blue border piece to the left side of the card front
Step 8:  Use black foam tape to add the Horse Friends image
