Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Mint Julep cardstock in half to form an A2 card
Step 2: Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the Candy Witch and sentiment on white paper, leaving space to die cut around each image, color Candy Witch with Copic Markers
Step 3:  Use the Fitted Frames Set B to die cut out the images and  die cut matching layers from Concord Double Dot cardstock, adhere the layers together
Step 4:    Cut a 2" x 4 1/4" piece of the orange cardstock, edge with the Copic 100 marker, adhere to the left side of the card front about 1/2" in from the edge
Step 5:   Use foam tape to add the Candy Witch to the lower right side of the card
Step 6: Adhere the sentiment at an angle in the upper left

Happy Fall!

Fall is moving so fast now! It's almost November and time to give thanks for the people who make our life so memorable! I just love the time leading up to the holidays, all the hustle and bustle of making these days festive and special for my family.

This week the Stampendous Design Team is sharing some of the beautiful Fall designs, perfect for the season. This new Autumn Points stamps is so lovely and I think the blue background gives you the feel of a crisp, cold autumn day!

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 5" x 10" piece of Aquamarine cardstock in half to form an A7 card
Step 2:  Stamp the Autumn Points on a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of white cardstock with Tuxedo Black ink, color with Copic markers
Step 3: Stamp Happy Fall with two small flourishes from the Fall Arrangement set on a 5/8" x 2 1/2" piece of white, color if desired
Step 4: Adhere the Autumn Points to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of the Orange Citrus Vintage paper then to a 4 3/4" x 5 3/4" piece of turquoise cork
Step 5:  Adhere a piece of ribbon across the card front, about 1 3/8" up from the bottom, using ZipDry
Step 6:  Use foam tape to add the image to the card, keeping it toward the right side
Step 7:  Adhere the Happy Fall to a 3/4" x 2 5/8" piece of Orange Citrus Vintage, then to a 1" x 2 3/4" piece of turquoise cork, adhere to the upper left side of the image, use a double piece of foam tape under the edge that hangs over the image
Step 8:  Make a small matching bow, adhere to the left side of the image with ZipDry
Step 9: Use the Stardust Pen to add sparkle to the veins and top of the acorn

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 6" x 9 1/2" piece of Sweet Potato cardstock in half to form an A6 card
Step 2: Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the Holly Cat on a 4" x 4" piece of white, color with Copic Markers
Step 3:  Cut out the image leaving a small border of white all around
Step 4:  Stamp the sentiment from the Cardinal Border set on a 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" piece of Kiwi Vintage edged with YG07, mat on a 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" Pink Punch edged with RV09, and then on to a 1 7/8 x 1 7/8" piece of Sweet Potato
Step 5:    Adhere a 4" x 4" piece of Kiwi Vintage edged with YG07 to a 4 1/2" x 5 3/4" piece of Pink Punch edged with RV09, tear the bottom edge of the Pink Punch, adhere to the card front
Step 6: Use foam tape to add the Holly Cat to the Kiwi mat
Step 7: Adhere the sentiment below the cat

Broom Flight


It’s here, It’s here! It’s Halloween season, AND time to start your spooky stamping! Stampendous is excited to be playing along again with the 9th annual 31 Days of Halloween at the Zahar Studio blog with our hostess with the ghostess, Terra! In the past this has been limited to stamped projects, but Terra has blown it wide open this year with tons of great options including mixed media and lots of other art styles. You’ll find a ton of inspiration at this event.
The theme this year is Day of the Dead, although any Halloween themed items can be posted. But beware!! Some of it might be kind of spooky! It’s not for the faint-hearted, or those who dislike Halloween.

Today my card features the awesome stencil, Broom Flight (FMS4076) from Stampendous, paired with a sentiment from Halloween Labels (CLD04).

Memento Inks - Cantaloupe, Tangelo, Bamboo Leaves
Foam Applicator

Black Foam Tape

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 6 1/4" x 10" piece of Grape Vine cardstock in half to form a card
Step 2: Tape the Broom Flight stencil to a 4" x 5" piece of the orange paper
Step 3:  Use a palette knife and paste spreader to apply Matte Black Embossing Paste over the image, remove stencil and place in water for cleaning, let paste dry
Step 4:  Stamp the "Witching You A..." on a 3/4" x 1 3/4" piece of white and "Happy Halloween" on a 1" x 1 7/8" piece of white using Memento Tuxedo Black
Step 5: Use a foam applicator to apply the Cantaloupe, Tangelo and Bamboo Leaves inks over the sentiments, edge each piece with the 100 Copic marker, mat each on small pieces of Kiwi Vintage then Grape Vine
Step 7:  Cut 2 pieces of Kiwi 1" x 4 3/4", then cut them each in half (so you have 4), cut a 1" x 5" piece of Kiwi and cut it into 10 pieces 1/2" x 1" each, edge each piece with the Bamboo Leaves ink if desired
Step 8: Cut a 4 5/8" x 5 5/8" piece of the Orange, edge with Copic 100, adhere the 4 larger Kiwi pieces to the back of the 4 corners, then using six of the small pieces, add them to the top and bottom edges, adhere the whole layer to the card front
Step 9:  When the paste is dry, edge the pasted layer with the Copic 100 and adhere to a 4 1/8" x 5 1/8" Grape Vine mat
Step 10:  Cut 5 pieces of Kiwi 1" x 1 1/4", cut one of those in half the long way to get 2 pieces 1/2" x 1 1/4", edge with Bamboo Leave, adhere to the four corners and the sides of the witch layer, then use the remaining 4 pieces of 1/2" x 1 " on the top and bottom edges
Step 11:  Use foam tape to add the Broom Flight to the card front
Step 12:  Adhere the two sentiment pieces to the card

Fading Flowers

The flowers are starting to fade away as the days get shorter and the nights grow colder. We'll miss these beautiful blossoms so thank goodness Stampendous has beautiful images like this Geraniums (P296) stamp to keep the beauty alive all year long! They have tons of other great floral images too!

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 6" x 9 1/2" piece of Deep Rose cardstock in half to form an A6 card
Step 2:  Stamp the Geraniums image on a 4" x 5" piece of white cardstock with Tuxedo Black ink, color with Copic markers
Step 3: Cut a 4" x 5" piece of Deep Rose cardstock, use the Fitted Frames B set to cut out the geranium image and a matching mat from the rose cardstock, adhere together
Step 4:  Cut a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of the Graphic45 paper, use a foam applicator to apply the peeled paint ink around the edges, adhere to the card front
Step 5:  Use foam tape to attach the Geraniums image

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 7" x 10" piece of brown cardstock in half to form an A7 card
Step 2:  Stamp the Haunted Hill on a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of white cardstock with Tuxedo Black ink, color the sky area first with B91, B93, B97, B99
Step 3: Lightly moisten a small part of the terry cloth rag with Blender Solution, press the moist portion of the rag randomly over the sky to give it texture
Step 4: Finish coloring the image and adhere it to a 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" black mat
Step 5:  Adhere a 4 1/2" x 5 7/8" piece of Orange Citrus Vintage to the card front, keeping it lined up along the left side
Step 6:  Adhere the Haunted Hill to the orange mat
Step 7:  Use the paint brush to apply some glue along the bottom of the image, sprinkle with Taupe Color Fragments, press them into the glue, add more where you want more
Step 8: Take the release paper off one side of 3 black foam squares, sprinkle them with a combination of the Clear Lemon and Carnelian powders, heat set, adhere them to the right side of the card front

Hello My Friend

Fall is in it's full glory here in Ohio! It is my favorite season. I recently returned from a trip to northern Minnesota where the fall color was SPECTACULAR! If only their winters weren't so long. 

This beautiful Rose Postcard stamp (W186) and sweet Scrolled Hello (E285) from Stampendous make a lovely card to send a friend this fall or any time! It doesn't take long to color it up, then pair it with some pretty decorative papers and you have a beautiful card in no time!

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 7" x 10" piece of Mustard cardstock in half to form an A7 card
Step 2: Stamp the Rose Postcard image with Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock, color with Copic Markers, trim image to 3 3/4" x 3 3/4", adhere to a 4" x 4" piece of Dare Devil cardstock
Step 3:  Stamp the sentiment of a 1" x 2" piece of white cardstock with Tuxedo Black, adhere to a 1 1/8" x 2 1/8" piece of Dare Devil, then a 1 3/8" x 2 3/8" piece of Mustard
Step 4:   Cut a 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" piece of the Graphic45 paper, adhere to the card front
Step 5:   Adhere a 3 7/8" x 3 7/8"  of Mustard cardstock near the upper left corner of the Graphic45 paper
Step 6: Adhere the matted Rose Postcard image on the Mustard layer, leaving Mustard showing on the top and left edges
Step 7:  Use foam tape to add the sentiment to the lower right side of the card

Today I've created a Halloween card featuring the great Spider Fear Perfectly Clear Set (SSC1263) from Stampendous, along with a sentiment from their Spooky Wishes Perfectly Clear Set (SSC1264).

Instructions:
Step 1:  Create a Double Dutch Fold card from black cardstock (see Pinterest for instructions)
Step 2:  Use the Fitted Frames Set A to die cut out a piece of the Authentique paper and a matching layers from black cardstock
Step 3: Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the Spider web and sentiment on Authentique paper, use a foam applicator to apply some yellow, orange and black ink  color, adhere to the matching black mat
Step 4:  Use the Fitted Frames Set B to die cut a white layer for the inside of the card, stamp with spider webs, spiders and the sentiment, rouge with inks, edge with a black marker
Step 5:    Cut layers of orange cardstock to match the flaps and inside of the card, adhere decorative papers that have been edged with black marker to the layers
Step 6:   Use foam tape to add the spider web and saying to the front flap
Step 7: Stamp the largest spider on white, color over it with the W6 marker, cut it out, adhere to the spider web on the card front

I made several of these spooky cards for a card club I belong to, I love how they turned out!
