Deflecto graciously provided each designer with two of their great frames, and a storage spinner that is awesome! Keep stopping by to see what we create with them each day.

I just love Spring, longer days, warmer weather, nature coming alive!
Last week my Snowdrops made their appearance, a sure sign of Spring!

Then these sweet little Crocus appeared!
But one of my favorite stages of Spring is when the Daffodils start making an appearance. Then you really know it's Spring!

Today I am using one of the 5" x 7" craft frames I received to display some photos I took of my Daffodils last year (they're not quite blooming yet this year). I like that you can easily switch the placement of the pegs to have either a horizontal or vertical frame.

"Welcome Spring!"
The frame comes apart quickly by unscrewing the silver pegs. It makes it super easy to decorate. I used two other signs of spring on my frame front: the sweet Bird on the Branch Stencil (DWLS94) and the beautiful Nest Flourish Stencil (DWLL587).

  • Simply tape the stencils to the frame front with removable tape
  • Use a palette knife to apply Matte Black Embossing Paste (DWDMBP) over the designs
  • Remove the stencils, place in water for cleaning
  • let the paste dry, so easy!

Another great addition to my Craft Room!

See that great accessory container to the side of my frame? It's from Deflecto too. Be sure to come back on Friday to see how it's changed! Tomorrow I'll be sharing my other frame with another of my favorite Spring flowers.

Oh, I like the idea of using embossing paste... When I stamp with Staz-on on glass, I tend to slip... MUST try this as I love the look you achieved! Thanks for the inspiration!

Coming home this morning I was surprised to see how
many different flowers and trees are blooming already.
Hope we don't get a freeze that will kill them.
Love your frame and the picture.
thanks for sharing.

Yay! For spring flowers! I love the frame and that you put pictures of the daffodils in there. So pretty. Great stencils for this project and they don't take away from the pictures.
