Welcome to the birth of a new year...2015 to be precise! In honor of that, we've decided that our monthly challenge for January will be Birthday Wishes. We'd love for you to play along with us, and link your creations to the Inlinkz tool at the bottom of this post, or on the Dream It Up! blog, for a chance to win the stencil of your choice...and remember, using Dreamweaver products gets you bonus points towards an extra stencil! Remember, Dreamweaver Stencils is now a part of Stampendous! Click here to read all about it!
Here's my birthday wish for this week using the fun new Fairy (LG762) stencil:
Paste emboss the Fairy stencil with Regular Embossing Paste, remove stencil Sprinkle the wings with clear glitter, pressing it VERY gently into the wet paste Let the paste dry, clean your stencil Do the same for the "Make a Wish" portion of LG704 Birthday words stencil, no glitter, just let it dry Place the clean dry stencil back on the Fairy and use stencil brushes to add color, the Picasso stencil (LL332) is essential when doing details! (I used Distress inks - tattered rose, worn lipstick, antique linen) Color the Make a Wish also |
I wish I had left the words white and sprinkled them with glitter, but oh well, next time To make them a little sparkly I went over the words with a Stardust pen |
I added Stardust pen to the "skin" of my Fairy too! |
Of course, more birthday inspirations coming your way from our "B" team:
