Fall Leaves

Fall is speeding by this year. Our Stampendous team is sharing Fall Fun projects this week. I recently was lucky enough to spend a weekend crafting with my daughter, a couple of my sisters, nieces, and great-nieces, We had so much fun creating some easy fall projects. Here's a small sample of our creations that weekend!

Of course, we managed to find some time to do a little shopping in Geneva too! It was a perfect day for a walk.

And we even made time for the Pumpkin Farm!

Fall is my absolute FAVORITE time of the year! The fall card I'm sharing with you today is not a "traditional" fall colored card, but it still shows off the beautiful Lg Oak Leaves Stencil (DWLG754) perfectly. Zentangle designs work great in stencils with large open areas, and I love to tangle!

Supplies:DWLG754_LH_800

Dreamweaver:
DWLG754 Large Oak Leaves Stencil
Plus:
Cardstock by Bazzill Basics Paper®
Classic® Epic Black & Solar White Linen Cover Stock by Neenah Paper®
By the Beautiful Sea Cardstock by Graphic 45®
Micron Pens (Black 01, Black 005) by Sakura®
Pencil
Paper Blending Stump
ZipDry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives™

Instructions:

  1. Tape the stencil to the white cardstock with removable tape.
  2. Use the Micron 01 Black pen to trace around all the openings, remove the stencil.
  3. Use the Micron 005 Black pen to add the various tangles to the design.
  4. Use the pencil to add shading, blend with the blending stump.
  5. Adhere to a black mat, then a rust colored mat, center on a card front.

Next week our team will be sharing ideas using a great small canvas bag that Canvas Corp generously shared with us. They are perfect for holiday gift giving! Be sure to stop by the Stampendous Blog each day for the current list of players!

Happy Fall,
