Steampunk Halloween

Happy 31 Days of Halloween! It is happening again this year and the Stampendous Design Team members are just as excited to be bringing a daily dose of Halloween inspiration. We had such a great time for the Smeared Ink blog hop last year with Terra that we wanted to come back for another year and then we didn’t sign up in time. We’ll still provide their hop list every day so you won’t miss out on the fabulous projects from them.

And of course, there are PRIZES!!! We have tons of prizes for this hop and as usual, comment on our blog and our design team blogs that get linked up here throughout our 31 Days post! See Official Contest Rules and then watch for details in our Monday post when we get the hop into full swing.

Our theme this week is "The Eyes of Halloween", another perfect theme for the 31 Days of Halloween challenge!

Today I am featuring the Steam Pumpkin stamp with some Graphic45 papers.

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 7" x 10" piece of Grape Vine cardstock in half to form a card
Step 2:  Stamp the Steam Pumpkin image on a 4" x 5" piece of white cardstock with Tuxedo Black ink, color with Copic markers, tear edges
Step 3: Use foam applicators to rouge the various distress inks into the background, using vintage photo and walnut stain close to the edges
Step 4: Sprinkle some Spoonful of Rust across the bottom edge, use a clip to hold the image while you heat it from below, repeat in the upper left corner, let cool
Step 5:  Cut a 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" piece of the Random Relics Graphic45 paper, use a foam applicator to apply the Distress inks around the paper on the flower vine side, adhere to the card front
Step 6:  Cut a 1 1/2" x 7" piece of Carrot Stick cardstock, use a foam applicator to apply the Distress inks along the edges, adhere to the card front near the left side
Step 7:  Cut a strip of the "Bewitched" word from the Charmed, I'm Sure Graphic45 paper, add Distress Inks, adhere a 7" strip to left side of the Carrot Stick layer, and one "Bewitched" to the Steam Pumpkin image
Step 8:  Use foam tape to attach the Steam Pumpkin image
