Folk Tree

It's hard to believe summer is at an end. We've already been enjoying the cooler evenings, but not really liking the earlier sunsets! The end of summer means we better get moving on creating our holiday cards because they'll be here before we know it.

This week the Stampendous Design Team has been sharing some the beautiful tree images from Stampendous.  Here's another simple, yet elegant, Christmas card that will take you hardly anytime and will impress everyone!

Supplies:

Stampendous:
FMS4039 Folk Tree Metal Stencil

Dreamweaver:
DWDPP Dreamweaver Pearlescent Embossing Paste
DWDPK Dreamweaver Palette Knife
DWLM2010 Paste Spreader

Plus:
My Color Cardstock - Spearmint
Graphic 45 Yuletide Greetings 4501188
Copic Marker BG72
Removable Tape
Creative Impressions White Crepe Ribbon
Craft Glue Dots
Foam Tape

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 6" x 9 1/2" piece of Spearmint cardstock in half to form an A6 card
Step 2: Cut a 4 1/2" x 5 3/4" piece of the Graphic 45 paper, edge with BG72, adhere to the card front
Step 3:  Tape the Folk Dove stencil to a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Spearmint cardstock with removable tape
Step 4:  Use a palette knife and paste spreader to apply Pearlescent Embossing Paste over the design, remove stencil and place in water for cleaning later, let paste dry
Step 5: Use the BG72 marker to color the white ribbon, let dry, tie into a small bow
Step 6: When paste is dry, use foam tape to add the tree to the card front
Step 7:  Use a Craft Glue Dot to add the bow

See the Stampendous Blog for more tree images!

Happy Creating,
Louise
