Congrats!

This week marks the release of the Stampendous April 2018 catalog! We are excited to start sharing our samples with you!

We are starting by featuring the new Everyday Chicks Clr/Die Set. This adorable set of chicks and accessories has matching dies. Some of the dies are small, so you can either leave them together or snip them apart, whichever you prefer.

Of course, the chicks are adorable, but I wanted to show you how versatile the stamps in this set can be when paired with other great new stamps like the Big Words Happy PCS (SSC1282). Here's an idea for a fun graduation card (because graduation season is right around the corner!).

Stampendous:
SSC1282 Big Words Happy PCS
CSD20 Everyday Chicks Clr/Die Set
MPW811 Mixed Media White Paper
Acrylic Handle
MEM01 Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink by Tsukineko®

Plus:
Cardstock - Gray, Olive Green, Black
Memento Ink Pear Tart
Memento Markers - Pear Tart, London Fog
Black Foam Tape

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Gray cardstock in half to form an A2 card
Step 2: Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the diploma and graduation hat images from the Everyday Chicks set randomly all over a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of white cardstock, color the hats with the Pear Tart marker, and use the London Fog marker to accent the edges of the diplomas
Step 3:  Adhere the colored image to a 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" black mat, adhere a 1/2" x 5" strip of black behind one long edge of a 1 5/8" x 5" piece of olive green, leaving a small edge of black showing, adhere to the bottom edge of the colored layer, then adhere all to the card front
Step 4 :  Use the Pear Tart ink to stamp the "congrats", from the Big Words Happy set, on a 1 5/8" x 3 7/8" piece of white cardstock, then use Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the "you did it!" over the "congrats", adhere to a 1 3/4" x 4" piece of black
Step 5:   Use black foam tape to add the sentiment to the card front

See the Stampendous Blog for more ideas using the Everyday Chicks set.

Happy Creating
Louise

I like the shade of green you used. Very pretty. I also like that you were imaginative and used this in a "different" way. Nice idea....
