This year I kept it very simple, using Dreamweaver's Clover (LS58) stencil, green embossing paste, glitter, and a COPIC marker for edging. Here's my card:
I was lucky enough to still have some of Dreamweaver's Green Glossy Paste, but if you don't, you can add a green acrylic paint to the translucent paste for the same affect. After I took off the stencil, I sprinkled the wet paste with Moss Green Ultrafine Glitter, then let it dry thoroughly. I wanted it to really pop off the white cardstock so I used a lighter green marker to edge around the clover image. Mount it on green gingham edge with the same marker and use foam tape to pop that off the card. This is a small card (4bar size) and is stamped on the inside with "have a lucky day" (A Muse Artstamps). The May Arts ribbon was the finishing touch. Here's a close up of the clover:
Now it's time to leap on over to the DREAM it UP! blog to check out the great design that Lynell came up with for this week's challenge. To see all the Dream Team samples, click on their names along the left side of my blog.
Hope you have a "lucky" day today too!
Happy Creating,
Louise

Great card Louise. I love the shadow effect you made on the clover!! Great job!! I hope you enjoy your St. Patty's Day!!
Wo Louise great card, simple and striking I really love the glossy paste with the glitter and the shadow effect really makes it pop.
This is a darling card, Louise. I just love the gingham background card stock and the simplicity of the design. I bet this card looks even better in person! Great idea to edge the shamrock with green copic to make it "pop." I'm glad I still have some green paste - especially in the spring!
Love the simple design. So much easier to make in multiples, and nothing boring about it!
Love the clean and classy design, Louise. I'm a big fan, too, of Copic markers. They're not just for coloring, but are great for adding shadows, highlights and a hint of color on the card mat or base.
I love this! Great glitter and love the clean lines!
I love this green creation...I almost posted your "go green" card with the cameleon Louise...I love that small checkered green background. Well I just love your cards.
Very nice and sweet card, Louise.
Beautiful. Your lines with the marker are perfect. I like the way just a bit of marker really set off the shamrock and the gingham matt!
Fun St. Patty's day card.
