Dreamweaver Challenge

The Dreamweaver Stencils Dream Team and the Art Glitter Design Team are back for week two of our joint challenge of using stencils and glitter to create beautiful, sparkly wedding themed cards.

This week I used Dreamweaver's beautiful Open bells stencil (LJ866) along with Art Glitter's gorgeous glitters (Twig and Pewter on the bells, Forget Me Not in the background) to create my card.
Here it is:

I adhered the double sided mounting paper to a dark blue shimmer paper that was cut slightly larger than the mounting paper. Did my double glitter technique, then put the bell layer on a piece of shimmery white paper then another layer of the blue. This would be a fabulous card for a winter wedding, but would be great no matter when! I used the Forget Me Not (very pale blue) in the background instead of Crystal to soften the look a little. The Pewter has a bluish look to it so it went with the blue shimmer paper very well.

Visit the Art Glitter blog and the Dream It Up! blog for fabulous inspiration from both talented design teams. We are encouraging all of you to play along with the challenge of creating with Dreamweaver Stencils and Art Glitter*, preferably using the Double-Glitter Technique with a wedding theme. Just link your creation to the Mr. Linky on the Dream It Up! blog, or email pics to lynell@dreamweaverstencils.com, for an opportunity to win one of four fabulous glitter and stencil prize packages. One winner will be chosen each week. (US and Canada only, please).
