This week we are back to our June challenge of "Old, New, Borrowed, Blue" theme. I created this card as part of an upcoming class(July 9th) at Memories and Beyond in Downers Grove, IL.
LG757 Heron stencil - Sludge Pasting Technique |
This is a technique called Sludge Pasting. It's when you take a couple of different colors of paste, gently swirl them together on your paste spreader, then paste your image. It's a very cool look. We will be mixing some colors for one of the other cards, then use our left overs to create this card. "Waste not, want not!"
Here's all three cards we will be creating in class:

I love the look of this technique Louise! The mix of colors is so very striking and such a great way to get so many different looks from one stencil. AMAZING!
Oh, Louise! What a fun card and technique!! I think I'm going to make some "sludge" paste and play! Your card is super cool and you always inspire me!
Gorgeous cards for your upcoming class! Like I've said many times...wish I could come to Chicago to play with you!
Beuatiful cards Louise as usual. I love sludge pasting and the colors you used are so pretty. Hope you doing well.
I always love the look of the sludge pasting...different every time. Very cool how you divided the card in half once again!
I love the cards you made for this class. They are all great! I especially like the technique you used for this card. I will have to give it a try.
