Snowman Shaker!

This week the Stampendous Design Team is showing off some of the Stampendous "Elements of Excitement!". That means we've used some of their wonderful embossing elements, glitter, fragments, micas or other fun products they've provided us!  LOVE all these ways to "glitz" up a project.

Today I'm sharing a shaker card I made for our July Release. The "shaker" elements are a combination of the fabulous new Twinkle Glitter, Color Fragments, and glass glitter.

Supplies:

Stampendous:
FMS4077 Snowman Circles Metal Stencil
CLD08 Snowman Trio Cling and Die Set
DCP1005 Fitted Frames A
DCP1006 Fitted Frames B
Color Fragments - Shaved Ice, Powder Blue, Taupe
Glass Glitter - Royal Blue, Oceanic, Silver
MG01 Crystal Micro Glitter
FRGL02 Twinkle Glitter

Dreamweaver:
DWLL332 Picasso Stencil
DWGHB-6 1/4" Brush #6 Gold Handle

Plus:
MyColorCardstock - Aquamarine
White Cardstock
Graphic 45 Yultide Greetings 4501188
Acetate
Red Line Tape
Memento Inks - Summer Sky, Teal Zeal
Brilliance Pearlescent Orange, Rocket Red
Black Fine Line Pen
Dries Clear Glue
Small paint brush
Removable Tape
Foam tape
Die Cut Machine

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 7" x 10" piece of Aquamarine cardstock in half to form an A7 card
Step 2: Tape the Snowman Circles stencil to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of white cardstock with removable tape
Step 3:  Use stencil brushes to add color to the image, use the Picasso to keep colors clean, outline the openings of the eyes and mouth with the fine line black pen, remove stencil
Step 4: Use the small paint brush to add glue to the hat band and pom pom, sprinkle with the Crystal Micro Glitter, let dry
Step 5:  Adhere a 4 5/8" x 5 7/8" piece of the Yuletide Greetings paper to a 4 3/4" 6" piece of Aquamarine, then using the smaller of the R size die from Fitted Frames B die cut a window in the center of the two papers
Step 6: Place red line tape around the outer edge of the back of the frame and attach a 4 5/8" x 5 7/8" piece of acetate to the tape to close the window
Step 7: Adhere the Snowman Circles image to a 4 7/8" x 6 1/8" piece of white, centering it on the paper
Step 8: Create a raised edge of a double layer of foam tape all around the image about 1/8" in from each edge, make sure the corners fit snug and that the tape won't show in your window
Step 9: Make a combination of the Color Fragments, Glass Glitter, and Twinkle Glitter and place it inside the foam edge
Step 10: Remove the release paper from the foam carefully and add the window over the top
Step 11:  Stamp the Let it Snow! from the Snowman Trio set on 2" x 2" piece of white with Tuxedo Black
Step 12: Die cut the sentiment and a matching Aquamarine mat using size C from Fitted Frames A, brush a little ink on the sentiment, adhere the two together then add to the card

Stop over at the Stampendous Blog from more ideas!

Happy Creating,
Louise
