Dutch Tulips

Spring is here at last! Well, in my part of Ohio anyway! The Stampendous Design Team is sharing some Spring creations this week. Here is one of my favorites featuring the beautiful Dutch Tulips set (CRS5102), with the fabulous DECOR Cling Music (DCR105) background stamp. The sentiment is Cling Everyone Wishes (CRF241).

Stampendous:
CRS5102 Cling Dutch Tulips
DCR105 DECOR Cling Music
CRF241 Cling Everyone Wishes
MPW811 Mixed Media White Paper
Acrylic Handle
MEM01 Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink by Tsukineko®

Plus:
Cardstock - Red, Black
Copic Markers - R30, R22, R24, R29, R89, G20, YG63, YG67, 100
Foam Tape

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 7" x 10" piece of red cardstock in half to form an A7 card
Step 2: Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the Tulips image on white paper,  color with Copic Markers
Step 3:  Draw a 2 3/8" x 4 3/4" box around the left upper part of the tulips, cut out the image around the box, mount on a 2 1/2" x 4 7/8" piece of black
Step 4:   Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the Music image on a 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" piece of white, edge with the 100 marker, adhere to the card front
Step 5:   Stamp the sentiment on white paper, trim close to the words, mat on black
Step 6: Adhere the Tulips to the upper left corner of the card, use a single piece of foam tape behind the two upper tulips and a double layer of foam tape under the lowest tulip
Step 7: Use foam tape to add the sentiment near the lower right corner

See the Stampendous Blog for more Spring samples.

Happy Creating,
Louise

Stunning card. Tulips are so beautifully colored. The music background and black and white against those tulips looks awesome.

How pretty! You used my all time favorite flower. Tulips are so amazing- they are very difficult to grow them in my area, so they seem even more special☺
