Mandala Bloom

Spring is in the air and the bulbs are starting to bloom. This week the Stampendous Design Team is sharing some our creations that have that "Springtime" feel. Today I'm sharing a card that has that Springtime feel, I think! The Build A Wreath Die Set (DCP1007) was the perfect way to highlight the wonder Mandala Bloom stamp (CRF242).

Stampendous:
CRF242 Cling Mandala Bloom
DCP1007 Build A Wreath Die Set
MG04 Pink Micro Glitter
MPW811 Mixed Media White Paper
Acrylic Handle
MEM01 Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink by Tsukineko®

Plus:
My Color Cardstock - Sweetie Pie, Mint Julep, Pink Carnation
BoBunny Orange Citrus Vintage 12OCV937
Copic Markers - RV11, RV14, RV17, Y02, Y17, YR000, YR04, YR07
Foam Tape
Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive
Die Cut Machine

Instructions:
Step 1:  Fold a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Sweetie Pie cardstock in half to form an A2 card
Step 2: Use the Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the Mandala Bloom on white paper,  color with Copic Markers
Step 3:  Use the Build A Wreath set to die cut out the colored image and  die cut matching layer from yellow vintage, cut the larger scalloped circle from the yellow too, and a matching circle and two bows from Pink Carnation cardstock, cut three sets of leaves from Mint Julep
Step 4:   Edge both yellow layers with the Y17 marker, edge the bows with the RV14 marker
Step 5:   Adhere the Pink Carnation circle to the large yellow scalloped circle and adhere to the card front
Step 6: Adhere the Mandala Bloom to the smaller yellow scalloped circle and use foam tape to adhere it to the center of the larger layer
Step 7: Use the Quick Dry Adhesive to add the three sets of leaves along the bottom edge of the Mandala layer
Step 8:  Glue on the two bows, offsetting them a little, place a small circle of glue in the center of the top bow, sprinkle with Pink Micro Glitter, tap off extra, let dry

See the Stampendous Blog for more Springtime samples.

Happy Creating,
Louise
