Dream Scheme Thursday

This week's Dreamweaver Stencils Thursday Dream Scheme is designer's choice. These are always fun, but definately challenging to come up with new ideas.  This Flower in bottle (LL566) stencil has always been one of my favorites.

For this card I started by dry embossing the image (use a light box and stylus, or your die cut machine) on white linen cardstock. Leave the stencil in place and use small stencil brushes to add color. With the vase stencil still in place, add the Violets stencil (LS5) over the vase and add color to the violets. Add a little green mear the bottom of the vase to give it a "shadow" . Layer on various shades of green paper and add embellishments.
Don't forget to stop over at the DREAM it UP! blog for another great idea, then over to the rest of the Dream Team blogs.
Happy Creating,
Louise

This flower in a bottle card is a graceful, softly colored beauty! The green layers and the ric-rac details add to the final perfect finish. Very nice!

Very nicely done. Reminds me of the spring flowers I'm hoping we'll get when the weather warms up!

Hi Louise, this is Lynell...I am writing from Pam's computer as we work the NAMTA show in Phoenix. This is beautiful, such a lovely stenciling "touch" that you exhibit in all of your work. Nice to see this design in a pastel.

Very pretty. Even with the simplest of elements (such as ric rac), your work is always classy.
